The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City seeks a Hardware Design First Line Manager to lead the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers training portfolio. The role combines technical leadership with production engineering oversight to translate simulator designs into scalable, high-quality products.

You will manage a multi-discipline hardware design team, control schedules, cost, and quality across programs, and mentor engineers while aligning with Boeing design practices and EVM processes.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree or higher required.
• At least one year in a leadership role or completed Boeing leadership course.
• Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM.
• Experience with CAD/CAM tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
• Experience developing requirements and performing requirements decomposition.

• Lead day-to-day operations for a multi-disciplined hardware design team (mechanical & electrical).
• Accountable for schedule, cost, and quality management across multiple programs
• Efficiently allocate resources for stable execution of work scope
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manage, mentor, and develop individual design engineering contributors
