Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Hardware Development Engineering Intern to join our team in a role spanning concept to production with exposure to full design lifecycle. You will contribute on schematic design, hardware validation, and automated testing tools across multiple locations in the US.

Interns work full-time (Monday–Friday) up to 40 hours/week for approximately 12 weeks, with start dates in Winter 2027, Summer 2027, or Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum.
• Enrolled in or have completed a US-located academic program.
• Knowledge of analog and digital skills; embedded systems projects.
• Experience with debugging hardware or computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Perform schematic design.
• Validate hardware and debug issues.
• Develop automated test tools (LabVIEW, HPVEE).
• Travel to support engineering builds.
