Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer for a Machine Tool Manufacturer in Lakeland, FL. This role focuses on designing the control systems hardware for machining systems used in honing, drilling, tape finishing, and super finishing processes.

Relocation is available. The candidate should have 2+ years’ experience in hardware design for custom equipment or industrial manufacturing machines and proficiency with electrical sub-systems and BOM/PO processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a hardware designer for custom equipment or industrial manufacturing machines.
• 2+ years designing electrical sub-systems of machines.
• 2+ years designing electrical drawings and backplate layouts.
• Experience generating BOMs and issuing PO requisitions.

Responsibilities

• Design the control systems hardware for machining systems.
• Develop electrical drawings and layouts for hardware components.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to integrate subsystems.
