Job summary

Tensordyne is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to own hardware system development for its AI products, including schematics, PCB layouts, mechanical considerations, and AVl management. You will collaborate across ASIC, software, product and operations teams to define requirements for lab bring-up and eventual production.

The role demands hands-on experience across schematic capture, PCB design, and power/thermal analysis, with a startup mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required.
• 2+ years hardware engineering experience.
• Hands-on schematic capture and PCB design experience.
• Experience with AVL management and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with EVT/DVT/PVT testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware system engineering aspects for Tensordyne’s AI products.
• Gather requirements and specifications from engineering, product and operations for planning and implementing all hardware system deliverables.
• Hands-on responsibility for the schematic capture, PCB design and other aspects of the hardware system around a complex custom AI ASIC.
• Plan for Compliance, Validation and FMEA Analysis for products.
• Drive hardware parts selection and vendor qualification processes in collaboration with manufacturing operations.
