Job summary

Acceler8 Talent is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to tackle complex system design challenges and help bring cutting-edge products from concept to production.

In this role, you design Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, memory and networking interfaces, and develop high-speed boards with ASICs and optical modules. You will collaborate across software, thermal, mechanical, and supply chain teams to ship reliable hardware.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering.
• Experience in hardware design for high-speed, high-power applications.
• Experience with signal/power integrity, thermal management, and regulatory compliance (UL, CE, FCC).
• Familiarity with CPU subsystems (x86, ARM, BMC), power systems (DC/DC), and digital logic (VHDL/Verilog).
• History of successfully shipping complex hardware products.

Responsibilities

• Design Ethernet switches, CPU subsystems, memory, and networking interfaces.

• Perform system-level analysis, simulation, validation, and debugging.

You should bring:

• A degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field (BS or MS)
• Strong experience in hardware system design for high-speed, high-power applications
• Hands-on skills in signal/power integrity, thermal management, and compliance (UL, CE, FCC)
• Familiarity with CPU subsystems (x86, ARM, BMC), power systems (DC/DC), and digital logic (VHDL/Verilog)
