Job Description:

Title: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA

Type: Contract w/ extension or conversion possible

Offered: Medical Insurance, PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K, Weekly Pay on W2, etc.

Responsibilities:

The Hardware Design Engineer will support the specification, development, design, and operation of the hardware design for various satellite avionics and hardware. This work will include cross-functional coordination to determine requirements and capabilities.

You will ensure HW supports both development work and end-product validation.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related field
Familiarity with high-speed design.
Familiarity with design for FPGA or ASIC circuitry.
Familiarity with board bring up and validation of complex designs.
Troubleshooting expedience for PCBA with Analog, Digital, and Mixed signal circuitry.
Work in the lab environment with various equipment like Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
Experience with rapid iteration prototypes and joint hardware/firmware development; partnering with software/hardware engineers to bring-up and test new hardware designs.
Knowledge of engineering best practices & patterns for the full software/hardware development life cycle, including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and certification.
Experience with Schematic capture tools.
