A2e Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior FPGA Design Engineer for a long-term contract position in Redmond. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in FPGA design along with expertise in VHDL, SystemVerilog, and high-speed Serdes. This role involves designing and simulating complex systems, working within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in FPGA/Modem Design.
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Perl, Bash, Tcl.
• Experience with communication interfaces including Ethernet, PCIe, SPI.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate FPGA and Modem systems.
• Work with Ultrascale+ and Versal architectures.

• Ultrascale+ & Versal
• VHDL & SystemVerilog
• Design and Simulate
• High-speed Serdes
• Solid scripting (python, pearl, bash, tcl, …)
• Solid Communication interfaces such as: Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART,etc

Nice to Have:

• Active Government Clearance
• Software Defined Radio/Modem Design background
• Some Petalinux Background
• Background in RF design
• Encryption experience
