Qualifications

• Requires minimum 6 years of experience in hardware design for industrial controls systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Proficiency with electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze design requirements and develop electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Create cost-effective electrical and pneumatic designs that meet performance, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Generate documentation to support manufacturing and field integration including drawings and schematics.
• Review peer hardware designs for accuracy and cost optimization.
• Inspect machinery to ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, UL, CE standards.
• Modify schematics and BOMs to support field changes and retrofits.
