L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist in Hardware Configuration Management in Palm Bay, FL. The role focuses on designing and maintaining configuration management processes, baselines, and data control to support defense hardware programs.

You will collaborate with engineering teams across locations, oversee engineering changes, and ensure compliance with DoD and internal standards. A security clearance is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2+ years of related work.
• Experience with Configuration and Data Management.
• Active Security Clearance preferred.

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain Configuration and Data Management Plans.
• Administer hardware products and PLM data in the PLM tool.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering across locations.
• Establish and maintain baselines for development, production, and sustainment.
• Oversee engineering changes for proper control and delivery.
• Apply data control methods to ensure quality standards.
• Manage data items and SDRL/CDRL schedules aligning with needs.
• Lead configuration audits and drive improvements.
• Advise teams on HWCM practices and change boards.
