Job summary

Teguar Corporation is seeking a Hardware Applications Engineer to validate computer hardware solutions for industrial and medical use cases. You will bridge customers, Sales, and Engineering, documenting results and ensuring design-ins and successful deployments.

Responsibilities include pre-sales validation, onsite testing, risk reviews, and post-sales support, with a focus on IEC 60601-1/1-2 and ISO 13485 alignment where applicable.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering with 2+ years industry experience.
• Or 5+ years hands-on hardware applications, validation, or systems integration.
• Experience with Windows and Linux imaging, UEFI/BIOS configuration, and peripheral bring-up.
• Proficient scripting for test and triage (Python/PowerShell).
• Strong customer-facing communication and issue ownership.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales validation: plan and execute hardware/software tests and produce reports.
• Witness/onsite testing: lead customer/NRTL tests and capture logs.
• Technical risk reviews: assess feasibility and mitigations.
• Post-sales support: drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Medical documentation: maintain V&V artifacts aligned to IEC/ISO standards.
• Continuous improvement: trend failures and propose design/process changes.
