Teguar Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Hardware Applications Engineer to validate computer hardware solutions through hands-on lab testing, documentation, and field support. You’ll act as a bridge between customers, Sales, and Engineering to accelerate design-ins and ensure reliable deployments.

The role requires strong bench skills, experience with Windows/Linux imaging, UEFI/BIOS, scripting (Python/PowerShell), and excellent customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer/Systems Engineering or 5+ years hands-on hardware validation.
• 3+ years with Windows & Linux imaging, UEFI/BIOS, and peripheral bring-up.
• Strong bench/lab skills and log capture.
• Scripting for test and triage in Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hardware/software validation; produce reports.
• Lead onsite testing and capture logs; define pass/fail criteria.
• Review specs to identify edge cases and mitigations.
• Lead root-cause analyses with Engineering/Ops/Suppliers.
• Create V&V artifacts, change records, and traceability to IEC/ISO.
• Suggest design or process improvements to reduce defects.
