Hardscape Crew Member / Hardscape Technician

Role Overview

Kanazeh Lawn Service is looking for a skilled Hardscape Crew Member (or Hardscape Technician) to join our team! In this role, you’ll bring outdoor spaces to life through expert hardscaping, precise construction, and skilled equipment operation. From crafting stunning patios and outdoor kitchens to building retaining walls, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outdoor transformations.

What You’ll Do

1. Construct patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, and other hardscape features with precision and craftsmanship.
2. Safely operate skid steers and other necessary machinery to streamline project execution.
3. Utilize carpentry skills for construction-style projects, ensuring accuracy in measurements and cuts.
4. Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality and visually stunning outdoor spaces.
5. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, efficient work environment.
6. Assist with seasonal services, including spring and fall cleanups and snow removal during winter, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

1. Experience in hardscaping and operating skid steers (required).
2. Carpentry or construction experience (preferred).
3. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).
4. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
6. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

Hours vary by season, typically starting between 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM and ending around 5:00 PM - 5:30 PM.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $18 - $24 per hour (based on experience).

Annual bonuses and paid time off based on tenure.

1099 contract role, with potential transition to W2 employment based on company policies.
