Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Projects Foreman to help lead the delivery of luxury, high-end residential and commercial landscape and hardscape projects – including patios, retaining walls, fireplaces/pits, and outdoor kitchens.

This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in both hardscape and softscape construction, a keen eye for detail, and pride in their craft. Join a team that values skill, hard work, and creating lasting outdoor spaces.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $32.00 an hour (contingent on experience)

Ground Works Land Design specializes in award-winning residential and commercial landscape design services in the Westlake area. We foster a positive culture with staff appreciation events such as our annual Christmas party, after work cookouts, happy hour Fridays, seasonal parties, and more.

Responsibilities:

• At least 3 years of relevant landscaping installation experience
• Advanced knowledge of plants, pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, seasonal cleanups
• Reading blueprints, building planting beds, installing plants, lawns, trees, boulders, and mulch
• Irrigation and low voltage lighting experience is preferred
• Operate landscaping and construction equipment proficiently
• Communicate with clients and address concerns
• Coordinate with Project Manager on client needs
• On-call for snow removal during winter
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Train crew members on equipment use and standards

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
• Ability to work independently
• Spanish language skills are a plus
• High attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

• Lift over 50 lbs.
• Crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders as needed
• Stand for long periods
