Job summary

Barton & Gray Mariners Club in Naples, FL is hiring a Harbor Support & Stew for the Winter 2026-2027 Season. This full-time, seasonal role involves vessel prep, inventory control, and onboard Stew service on luxury vessels for Members.

Primary duties include dockside support, provisioning, and delivering a high-quality Member experience, with start anticipated at the beginning of November. Evening/weekend shifts are required, with mileage reimbursement for day work.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation for use during work day.
• Evening, weekend and holiday availability required.
• Strong communication & organizational skills, energetic, and personable.
• Ability to work on a team and independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment; critical thinker and problem solver.
• Ability to move into and out of small spaces that may require crouching, kneeling or crawling.
• Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 21 years of age preferred.
• Hospitality and/or maritime experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment on the dock for Members and their guests.
• Assist Captains with vessel preparation before outings, cleaning and restocking after outings, and assist with the turnover process between trips.
• Maintain and track all vessel inventory and provisions and ensure all dock boxes and storage units are stocked.
• Communicate with the Purchasing and Supply Chain Team regarding inventory needs.
• Coordinate laundry drop off and pick up.
• Support Captains with catering deliveries, provisioning, and special occasions for Member outings.
• Greet Members and their guests as they arrive and depart from the marina and assist with their belongings
• Offer initial beverage service before the boat departs.
• Partner with the Member Services team to identify Member engagement opportunities, special occasions, and assist with mishaps and complaints.
• Assist Captain in creating an excellent on board experience for all Members and their guests both on and off the yachts.
• Welcome Members on board, assist with their belongings/bags, and discuss itinerary and timing for trip activities.
• Provide food and beverage service to Members & keep the vessel neat and clean
• Host and entertain the Members and their guests.
• Possess a high level of knowledge of our cruising areas, and be able to discuss with Members and guests.
• Assist Captain with keeping watch during tubing, swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and fishing activities.
• Assist Captain with cleaning vessel post outing.

Barton & Gray Mariners Club (B&G) is dedicated to providing its Members with unmatched experiences on the water, operating over 90 Yachts in 33 harbors, and offering a range of products including Day-boating, Sport-fishing, and more. B&G is hiring a Harbor Support & Stew for the Winter 2026-2027 Season. The Harbor Support & Stew team member plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the harbor and a high-quality Member experience. This full-time, seasonal position involves working closely with the Harbor Support & Stew Manager, B&G Captains, Member Services, and Supply Chain. Key responsibilities include preparing vessels, managing inventory, and providing onboard Stew service on our luxury vessels as requested by Members.While we are now accepting applications, the Harbor Support & Stew is anticipated to start at the beginning of November.

Primary Responsibilities as a Stew & Harbor Support Dockside:
