Job summary

Foss Maritime Co. is seeking a seasoned offshore operations leader to supervise maritime crews and coordinate vessel deployments. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient crew management across multiple projects on the U.S. West Coast and beyond.

The role requires a strong maritime background, a valid USCG license, and proven leadership in budgeting, scheduling and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or maritime academy or equivalent.
• Minimum five years as tugboat captain or shoreside management experience.
• Must possess a valid USCG Masters License or Mates License.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises offshore marine employees and crews.
• Ensures compliance with safety, regulatory and company policies.
• Prepares budgets, plans vessel utilization and manages costs.
• Leads training, performance reviews and personnel development.
