Tampa Housing Authority is seeking a Payments and Reporting Specialist (NTHDC) in Tampa, FL to manage accounting and reporting tasks under the U.S. Virgin Islands ACC.

The role supports TRACS/iMAX files, HAP payments, PBCA reporting, and monthly/quarterly/annual reports under HUD guidelines. Under supervision of the Payment and Reporting Manager, you will coordinate with the bank and software systems, maintain records, and prepare ad hoc reports while ensuring data integrity and compliance with

Qualificações

• Knowledge of HUD voucher rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of report preparation techniques.
• Ability to research technical specifications and troubleshoot data files.
• Ability to provide information in a courteous diplomatic manner.
• Ability to create banking payment files and generate banking account reports.
• Skill in mathematics, data entry and electronic record keeping.
• Proficiency with proprietary software for HAP Vouchers and ACC Reporting.
• Ability to maintain a variety of files and records, and to prepare reports and answer questions from the records.
• Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Performs all accounting and reporting IBPS and PBT tasks under the ACC.
• Creates and monitors monthly HAP payment files with bank and software systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, download, and upload TRACS/iMAX files from HUD’s Secure Systems.
• Assists the Contract Specialist to reconcile and process monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) vouchers.
• Assists in the generation of the monthly PBCA invoice.
• Assists in the generation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual PBCA Reports.
• Assists in the monitoring of the Annual Work Plan and Work In Process.
• Maintains electronic files and records retention per HUD and internal policy.
• Perform any special projects or ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Utilize HUD systems to ensure data integrity.
