Job summary

Memphis Goodwill INC is hiring a Hanger-Carriage at Carriage Crossing GGC in Collierville, TN. The role supports merchandising by preparing apparel for sale, tagging, hanging, and organizing racks.

You will help maintain cleanliness, follow safety rules, and adhere to company policies while working with a team to keep the store stocked and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area at all times.
• Categorize and process apparel by size, type, and color.
• Hang, tag, and arrange salable apparel on racks in the hang area.
• Support quality control: check for tears, stains, broken zippers, and buttons.
• Move racks from hang area to sales floor; assist with rotation and dressing room checks.
• Keep hang count at 100+ pieces per hour; maintain flow.
• Keep processing area tidy and organized.
• Follow GGC policies; practise safety and report hazards/injuries.
• Act in line with our Guiding Principles; may assist with other duties.
• Participate in trainings as directed by the Team Leader/Coach.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Coach.

HANGER- CARRIAGE

Carriage Crossing GGC, Collierville, TN, US

Salary Range: $12.50 To $12.50 Hourly

• Image (keep work area clean, neat, safe and organized).
• Categorization – Appropriate processing (sizing, type and colorization on rack).
• Place all salable apparel in the hang area of the sort table, tag and/or size apparel, hang apparel onto racks.
• Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, broken zippers, buttons).
• Transport racks of hung apparel to sales floor, assist with apparel rotation, dressing room checks as directed/needed.
• Maintains accurate hang count with the goal of 100+ pieces hung/hour. Keep River flowing.
• Maintains processing area and work output in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Adheres to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leader Coach or ATL.
• Responsible for performing assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles:
• May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
• Attends in-service related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach.
