Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Industries Inc. is seeking a Hanger-Carriage position at Carriage Crossing GGC, Collierville, TN. Responsibilities include processing and hanging apparel, quality checks, and assisting with sales floor operations.

The role requires maintaining organized work areas, complying with safety rules, and participating in trainings as assigned by the Team Leader Coach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, safe, and organized work area.
• Categorize and process apparel by size, type, and color on racks.
• Tag, size, and hang all salable apparel onto racks in hang area.
• Assist with quality control for tears, stains, zippers, buttons.
• Move racks to sales floor and assist with rotation and dressing room checks.
• Maintain hang counts of 100+ pieces per hour.
• Maintain clean processing area at all times.
• Follow GGC policies and report hazards to Team Leader/Coach/ATL.
• Work in line with Guiding Principles.
• May participate in activities outside Goodwill.
• Attend in-service training as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader/Coach.

HANGER- CARRIAGE

Salary Range: $12.50 To $12.50 Hourly

• Image (keep work area clean, neat, safe and organized).
• Categorization – Appropriate processing (sizing, type and colorization on rack).
• Place all salable apparel in the hang area of the sort table, tag and/or size apparel, hang apparel onto racks.
• Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, broken zippers, buttons).
• Transport racks of hung apparel to sales floor, assist with apparel rotation, dressing room checks as directed/needed.
• Maintains accurate hang count with the goal of 100+ pieces hung/hour. Keep River flowing.
• Maintains processing area and work output in a neat and clean condition at all times.
• Adheres to all GGC and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to the Team Leader Coach or ATL.
• Responsible for performing assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles:
• May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.
• Attends in-service related training as assigned by Team Leader Coach.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Team Leader Coach
