Job summary

AnovaWorks' Hanford Occupational Medical Services site is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive occupational health services, triage injuries, and support employee health concerns. This role emphasizes independent nursing interventions and promoting workplace wellness across shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a Washington RN license with 2+ years of nursing experience; BLS and ACLS are required, COHN/COHN-S certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Washington state RN license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience.
• COHN/ COHN-S certification desirable, but not required.
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS certification current.
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks independently within legal scope or under provider direction.
• Provides occupational health and safety services and referrals when needed.
• Triages workplace injuries/illnesses and provides nursing interventions.
• Conducts basic physical examinations and relays findings.
• Assesses worksite health and develops abatement plans.
• Familiar with on-site work processes and hazards.
• Performs health surveillance testing (audiometry, vision, venipuncture, etc.).
• Develops health/safety promotion strategies for individuals and groups.

The Position

Join Anovaworks as a Registered Nurse at our Hanford Occupational Medical Services site and help shape the future of workplace wellness. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational health services, deliver independent nursing evaluations and interventions, support employees through work-related and personal health concerns, and champion programs that promote employee health and safety.

*Availability to work nights and weekends is required, with pay incentives provided*

A qualified Registered Nurse will be able to perform the following duties

• Performs tasks independently, within legal scope of practice or under provider direction over TM.
• Provides high quality occupational health and safety services efficiently. Refers patients to clinic, emergency departments or personal providers as needed.
• Accurately triages workplace injuries/illnesses and provides appropriate nursing interventions.
• Performs basic physical examinations, relays findings to patients and providers.
• Provides safety/health assessments of the worksite and develops/presents abatement plans to management/employees.
• Familiar with the work processes and safety/health hazards at each on-site location.
• Provides occupational health surveillance testing including, but not limited to, audiometry, vision screening, alcohol/drug screening, venipuncture, blood specimen collection.
• Develops and implements health/safety promotion strategies for the individual and group.

Requirements

The Registered Nurse should have the following qualifications:

• Current, valid Washington state RN license
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN/ COHN-S) Certification desirable, but not required.
• Current basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification.
• Current ACLS Certification
• Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.
