Job summary

Mr. Handyman is growing its team of handyman professionals in Michigan, Westland area. We’re seeking highly-skilled craftsmen who can “do it all” while delivering exceptional customer service. Earn $55,000–$80,000 yearly with a company-supplied van, gas card, and support from office staff.

You’ll complete maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, communicate clearly with customers, document work, and follow the Mr. Handyman Way to deliver a first-class experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman.
• Own your own tools.
• Be insurable for driving our vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently.
• Able to work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Live within the area.

Responsibilities

• Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects (2 hours to 2 days).
• Communicate with customers to explain needs, scope, and costs.
• Deliver a great customer experience and drive repeat business.
• Self-manage as you’ll often work alone.
• Provide excellent customer service and collect payments; ask for reviews.

The project length can range from two hours to two days.Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.
