Job summary

Mr. Handyman is hiring a skilled Handyman Professional in Pooler, GA. You will perform maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, manage expectations with customers, and help create lifelong customers by delivering excellent service.

You’ll work with a company-provided van and gas card, supported by a back-office team that fills your schedule and handles calls. Enjoy flexible hours, an iPad, and strong career growth within a trusted brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of paid handyman experience.
• Own your tools and carry them to jobs.
• Live within the service area and be insurable for driving the company vehicle.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work at heights as needed.
• Proficiency in at least three of: carpentry, bathroom/kitchen improvements, painting, drywall, plumbing/electrical within legal limits.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair tasks for homes and small commercial projects.
• Communicate with customers to explain scope, costs, and timelines.
• Build lasting relationships by delivering exceptional service and asking for reviews and referrals.
• Follow the Mr. Handyman process to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction.
• Document job details and ensure accurate invoicing and material sourcing.

The project length can range from two hours to two days.Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.
