Location and Schedule:
1224 Poinsett Hwy. Greenville, SC 29609
7:00am - 3:30pm plus overtime and scheduled weekends

Summary/Objective:

The Handwork Supervisor, Lettershop is responsible for managing the quality and productivity of the handwork department in the Lettershop. Manually produce direct mail and/or other printed materials for distribution according to specific client requirements.

Essential Functions:
  • Performs highly detailed manual assembly work requiring precise handling of delicate components that cannot be automated, ensuring each mail piece meets exact specifications through careful handling.
  • Participates in employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Meet assigned deadlines and achieve production goals.
  • Manage employee time and review job requirements with employees.
  • Train employees to ensure job skill proficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity.
  • Conduct QC checks as per standard operating procedures, ensuring quality of work meets customer expectations.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance with company policies.
  • Operate inserter equipment as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of internal and external customers.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
  • Preferred High School/GED or equivalent education and experience.
  • Production experience with mailing processes preferred.
  • Supervision or lead experience of a production team.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations preferred.
  • Ability to work with co-workers to meet production goals.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise the Handwork team, working closely with Lettershop Management.

Work Environment:

Indoor, temperature-controlled production facility.

Physical Demands:
  • Stand for at least 8 hours/day.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Use PPE as required.
Security Clearance:

This position may require government security clearance as Amsive is a Federal Contractor.
