Job Details

Location: 1224 Poinsett Hwy. Greenville, SC 29609
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm plus overtime and scheduled weekends

Summary

The Handwork Supervisor, Lettershop manages the quality and productivity of the handwork department, manually producing direct mail and printed materials according to client specifications.

Essential Functions
  • Perform detailed manual assembly work handling delicate components to meet exact specifications
  • Participate in employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions
  • Meet deadlines and achieve production goals
  • Manage employee time and relay job requirements
  • Train employees for skill proficiency and policy compliance
  • Participate in process improvements to increase productivity
  • Conduct QC checks to ensure quality standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information
  • Operate inserter equipment as needed
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
  • High School/GED or equivalent; technical education/experience preferred
  • Production experience, especially with mail insert machines, preferred
  • Supervisory or team lead experience in production
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of USPS regulations preferred
Additional Information

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise the handwork team in collaboration with Lettershop Management.

Work Environment: Indoor, temperature-controlled facility.

Physical Demands: Stand for at least 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, PPE may be required.

Security Clearance: May require government security clearance for certain projects.
