Job summary

Vista Vending is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor in Tacoma, WA. You will lead a team of warehouse pickers, manage schedules and training, and ensure accurate picking, inventory control and safety compliance to support route drivers each morning.

This is a working supervisor role requiring active involvement in daily operations, with a focus on efficiency, organization and team development. Benefits include health coverage, life insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution or inventory experience required.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage employees, prioritize work and hold team members accountable.
• Forklift experience preferred; must be able to operate warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support warehouse pickers and other assigned staff.
• Create and manage employee schedules to meet daily needs.
• Assign and prioritize daily work for accurate picking and staging.
• Train new employees on procedures, safety and company expectations.
• Provide coaching and complete performance reviews.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and address issues as needed.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, rotation and date checking to minimize waste.
• Coordinate receiving, storage and organization of incoming product.
• Work with route supervisors and drivers to ensure correct picking.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
