Job summary

Alliance Markets & Vending in Federal Way, WA is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team. You will ensure the right products are picked, staged, and ready for drivers each morning, while managing scheduling, training, and safety compliance.

You will actively supervise pickers, coordinate daily operations, monitor performance, and collaborate with route teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy. The role requires forklift experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

About the role

Our warehouse is where every route begins. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll lead the team responsible for making sure our route drivers leave each morning with the right products, in the right quantities, and ready to serve our customers.

This is a hands-on working supervisor position. You'll supervise our warehouse pickers while also being actively involved in daily warehouse operations. You'll manage scheduling, training, performance, inventory, safety and organization while working closely with management and our route team to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll do

• Supervise, train and support warehouse pickers and other assigned warehouse employees.
• Create and manage employee schedules and coordinate coverage to meet daily operational needs.
• Assign and prioritize daily work and ensure picking and staging are completed accurately and on time.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety requirements and company expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback and complete employee performance reviews.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity and performance and address issues as needed.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, product rotation and date checking to minimize shortages, waste and expired product.
• Coordinate receiving, storage and organization of incoming product.
• Work closely with route supervisors and drivers to ensure product is picked and staged correctly.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Load, unload and move pallets and product throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse and ensure employees follow established safety procedures.
• Identify and report shortages, damaged products, equipment problems and other operational issues.
• Look for ways to improve warehouse organization, efficiency and workflow.Maintain warehouse records and assist management with inventory and operational reporting.
• Jump in and work alongside the warehouse team when needed including picking, staging, loading and other warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution or inventory experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage employees, prioritize work and hold team members accountable.
• Strong attention to detail with inventory counts, dates and product accuracy.
• Forklift experience preferred; must be willing and able to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory and warehouse systems.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time continually throughout the day and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Dependable, proactive and willing to work alongside the team.
• A positive, team-first attitude.
