Job summary

MSI is seeking a Shipping and Receiving associate in Omaha to review shipping orders on a tablet, verify documentation, pick and palletize products, and shrink-wrap for shipment. The role involves up to 60% manual labor with forklift use as needed.

The position runs Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. Requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year warehouse experience; forklift experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with a tablet or iPad.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select and place flooring products on pallets and shrink-wrap for secure handling.
• Read shipping orders to determine quantity and transportation needs.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents and maintain related data.
• Collect documentation for outbound freight and route to records.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various merchandise.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange loading instructions.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Keep equipment checklists and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform additional duties as required.
