Job summary

MSI is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate in the United States. The role involves reviewing shipping orders on a tablet, verifying documents, picking and packing orders, and arranging freight schedules. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with occasional weekend hours. The position pays $20–$21 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x base rate and potential bonuses, making an annual

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with a tablet or iPad.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials.
• Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data.
• Collect documentation for outbound freight and route it to the appropriate record-keeping unit.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment.
• Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.
