Job summary

Pella Windows and Doors of St. Louis is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.

You will manage warehouse staff, coordinate delivery schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure customer service from order prep to final delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in operations leadership, forklift experience, OSHA familiarity, and a track record of improving warehouse KPIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an operations leadership role, ideally in warehouse or distribution.
• Track record of driving process improvement and meeting warehouse KPIs.
• Decisive, resourceful, and calm under pressure—juggling multiple priorities.
• Clear, confident communication with dock crews and senior leadership.
• Forklift experience and familiarity with OSHA certification requirements.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run the site: lead inbound, outbound, and logistics activity.
• Oversee freight contracts and carrier relationships for on-time delivery and cost control.
• Oversee order flow, processing, and documentation to meet customer commitments.
• Own inventory control: cycle counts and accurate receiving/storage.
• Drive Lean: standardize processes and reduce waste while boosting productivity.
• Build the team: coach hourly staff and recruit talent aligned with culture.
