Job summary

MSI Defense Solutions is seeking a Vehicle Assembly Mechanic to join a shop-based team in Mooresville, NC. The role involves assembling and maintaining mechanical components for our vehicle systems, with a Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm schedule and optional overtime to meet deadlines.

• Candidate must read blueprints and plans, safely assemble and repair vehicle components.
• Experience with mechanical hand tools and measurement devices is required.
• Demonstrated reliability, clear communication, and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build mechanical components per requirements.
• Read blueprints and plans and follow established procedures.
• Repair or replace vehicle components and sub-systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain safe working practices.
• Plan and manage tasks with minimal supervision and keep tools in good condition.
• Ensure work areas and equipment are safe and organized.
