Job summary

Clarios Florence plant in Florence, KY is hiring a General Purpose Utility Operator to support production and maintenance on 12-hour shifts, with day or night options.

You will observe, learn, and perform a variety of tasks across brushing, die cast, tooling, and material handling, and may operate forklifts as needed. Weekend overtime is required.

The role offers hands-on training, a pathway into manufacturing, and competitive pay with overtime and a night-shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights).
• Willingness to work weekends and mandatory overtime.
• Prior sit-down forklift experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on utility role supporting production and maintenance teams across the plant.
• Observe, learn, and perform a wide variety of tasks, often serving as a relief or backup operator while gaining experience.
• Assist with production and maintenance tasks throughout the plant.
• Operate or attend auxiliary production equipment, including brushing machines and die cast machines.
• Material regrind equipment and help prepare, stage, and deliver process supplies.
• Learn and perform forklift operation duties as needed.
• Support plant operations through additional assigned tasks and basic clerical work.
• Follow all safety procedures and work under the direction of experienced team members.
