Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Full-Service Technician to recondition, reassemble, and test OCR transformers. The role requires following work orders, maintaining safety, and ensuring quality while handling regulators and pad mounts.

The position demands mechanical/transformer experience, basic electrical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with lifting up to 50 lbs and various equipment like forklifts and cranes. Safety training is emphasized.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED preferred.
• Mechanical and transformer experience preferred.
• Basic Knowledge of Tools
• Basic Electrical Knowledge
• OSHA10 certification preferred
• Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
• A proven track record in safety excellence is required.
• Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Meet department and production goals set by supervisor.
• Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work order instructions to ensure your rebuilding transformers to customer specifications.
• Reconditioning and wiring controls for pad mounts
• Kitting parts for regulator orders
• Collecting parts for inventory
• Cleaning Parts
• Cycle counts
• Draining regulators
• Building regulators
• Basic testing of regulators
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
• Other assigned duties as needed.
