Job summary

NTN Bearing Corporation in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Test Engineer to support CVJ testing, data acquisition, and analysis in a hands-on laboratory environment. You will set up tests, run procedures, and generate reports under supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background (BSME/MET or related) with 0–3 years’ experience, knowledge of CVJ systems, and familiarity with IATF 16949/ISO14001 quality requirements.

Qualifications

• BSME, MET or related technical field required.
• 0–3 years’ mechanical engineering experience.
• Data Acquisition & Analysis/Measurement System experience.
• CVJ knowledge and ISO/IATF 16949/ISO14001 knowledge.
• Knowledge of servo hydraulic test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CVJ test operations with established procedures.
• Analyze test results and write reports under supervision.
• Maintain test facilities and equipment; keep laboratory organized.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for test materials and supplies.
• Design/testing fixtures and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Support on-site customer vehicle testing and data acquisition.
• Assist with quality-system documentation related to the lab.
