Job summary

Reliance One, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Test Technician in Farmington Hills, MI to support product development, validation, and verification testing of air-induction systems and filtration products.

You will prepare samples, run test plans, analyze results, and generate clear technical reports for engineering teams. The role requires strong mechanical fabrication aptitude, experience with test equipment, and the ability to troubleshoot independently.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, fabrication aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Experience with test plans and technical procedures.
• Ability to read engineering specs and testing requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer test specs and DVP&R requirements.
• Create test plans in partnership with product engineers.
• Prepare samples and test prototypes per plans and specs.
• Perform development, validation, and verification testing.
• Complete product, equipment, and vehicle evaluations using standard procedures.
• Verify products meet customer requirements and targets.
• Notify management of delays or nonconforming results.
