Job summary

Neumo seeks a Lead Developer for the Fulfillment team to provide day-to-day technical leadership and hands-on coding in OTC/MR and LP systems. You will guide a small, capable team in a Kanban environment, owning technically complex work and ensuring timely delivery on jurisdictional RFP recompetes.

You will balance coding with leadership, mentor peers, set the Definition of Done, and uphold architectural standards in a fast-paced government-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Strong knowledge of OOP and SOLID design principles.
• Commitment to Clean Code practices and refactoring.
• Experience building web apps using MVC (ASP.NET MVC preferred).
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET Web Forms; VB.NET is a plus.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Kanban or continuous-flow delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical direction and coordinate work flow.
• Write production code while guiding the team's technical direction.
• Break down epics into ready-to-work items with clear acceptance criteria.
• Own and improve the team's Definition of Done and testing coverage.
• Mentor developers and lead code reviews to teach, not just fix.
• Represent Fulfillment in cross-team forums and manage dependencies.
