Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions in Virginia Beach is seeking a Team Lead – Assembly to provide hands-on leadership on the production floor. You will direct an assembly team, coordinate daily work, review production plans, and support problem solving to meet quality, safety, and delivery goals.

This full-time, on-site role offers a first shift, competitive pay starting at $25 per hour, and opportunities for growth through on‑the‑job training and internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in general assembly or mechanical trade work.
• Experience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges).
• Experience reading assembly instructions, BOMs, routings, and production docs.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability and safety focus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to assembly team to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery goals.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate production plans and priorities.
• Plan and coordinate daily work assignments based on production requirements.
• Support problem-solving and escalate issues when needed.
• Assist with assembly processes, troubleshooting, and technical questions.
• Monitor orders and delivery requirements to ensure on-time completion.
• Drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Report production metrics and KPIs as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to support production needs.
