Job summary

Jobot is seeking a System Security Test Engineer to support verification and validation of complex, mission-critical systems, including networking, VoIP, radio control, and Air Traffic Management systems. The role centers on hands-on security testing and the assessment of NIST SP 800‑53 Rev.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, ECE, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on system test experience with networking, VoIP, radio control, or Air Traffic Management systems.
• Practical experience assessing NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 controls.
• Experience with AC, CM, IA, SC, and SI control families.
• Strong debugging and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, execute, and document system security test activities.
• Perform hands-on testing of complex networking, VoIP, radio control, and Air Traffic Management systems.
• Assess and verify security control implementations per NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5.
• Develop test procedures, cases, scripts, and traceability.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, network, and cybersecurity teams to resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing after changes and patches.
