Job summary

Hitachi Energy offers a 12-week summer internship designed as a learning experience for engineering students. Interns are assigned meaningful work that supports growth, safety, quality and production goals within our Jefferson City, MO factory.

You will spend about 80% of your day on the manufacturing floor wearing PPE, with opportunities to tackle real projects that impact our products and processes.

Qualifications

• Engineering student with hands-on project focus on quality and safety.
• Able to troubleshoot and propose solutions on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities

• Work on the manufacturing floor 80% of the day wearing PPE (safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses and bump caps).
• Contribute to quality, safety and production improvements through meaningful projects.
• Collaborate with teams across manufacturing and facilities to support operations.
