Atwell is offering a Summer 2027 Internship in Survey & Mapping. You will support the Land Survey team, gain hands-on field data collection experience, and work with a mentor on technical reports, layouts, and survey plans for land development and solar projects.

In-office duties include CAD drafting, data downloads, and deed/map research; you will learn leveling, traversing, mapping, construction layout, and boundary surveys under guidance.

Formación

• Student enrolled in a university or technical school Survey program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Entry-level AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of plan interpretation; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Land Survey team by collecting and processing field data.
• Be paired with a mentor who trains on technical reports, layouts, and survey plans.
• Help with office tasks including CAD drafting, data download, deed and map research, and filing.
• Learn survey activities such as leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, and various surveys.
• Become familiar with drawings like ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout and staking.
