Job summary

Oligo is seeking a Spacecraft Engineer Intern to support and, in some cases, lead the design of spacecraft mechanical and electrical subsystems. You’ll work across disciplines with GNC, power, software, and mission design teams to integrate components and ensure fit.

The internship emphasizes hands-on hardware, documentation, and exposure to environmental testing; you’ll gain real mission experience and contribute to design reviews while developing CAD/ECAD skills and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Familiarity with CAD/ECAD tools.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, or Altium.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Willingness for hands-on activities.
• Ability to carry 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and electrical subsystems.
• Develop interface diagrams and routing layouts.
• Select hardware components.
• Participate in assembly and testing campaigns.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare documentation and presentations.
• Learn procurement and supplier coordination.
