Job summary

Proppel Pty Ltd. partners with a fast-growing US-based premium food DTC brand to hire a hands-on Shopify operator responsible for the day-to-day build, health, and optimization of the storefront.

You will own tracking, apps, and on-site merchandising, shipping fixes, and test-and-learn initiatives. This contractor role requires Shopify theme/Liquid/HTML/CSS skills, strong analytics, experience with Recharge or subscription apps, and the ability to ship fixes via GitHub PRs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Shopify experience (theme, Liquid, HTML/CSS) and comfort in a GitHub PR workflow.
• Strong tracking and analytics chops (Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4, GTM) and ability to debug event firing.
• App and subscription fluency (Shopify apps, bundles, Recharge or similar).
• Landing-page ability: build and optimize pages for conversion.
• Test-and-learn mindset with self-directed problem solving, merchandising, and ops awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own tracking and pixel health; diagnose and fix Meta CAPI deduplication and test-event QA.
• Manage apps and bundles; perform end-to-end migrations (e.g., bundles to Recharge app).
• Run on-site merchandising and promo mechanics; handle stock, substitutions, and cart fixes.
• Proactively suggest tests; spin up test landing pages and run competitive analyses.
• Support SKU-expansion roadmap and leverage AI tooling to ship faster.
