Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with machining, CNC equipment, assembly, or similar manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic manufacturing specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize production priorities and adapt to changing schedules.
• Effective communication and employee leadership skills.
• Comfortable being hands-on and working directly with employees on the shop floor.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support employees across machining and assembly operations
• Coordinate daily production priorities to meet schedules and customer deadlines
• Assign work and ensure employees have the tools, materials, and information needed to be successful
• Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and safety throughout the shop
• Work with management and other departments to address production needs and changing priorities
• Train, coach, and provide day-to-day direction to employees
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment, production, and quality issues
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation
• Support CNC and other manufacturing equipment as needed
• Ensure completed work meets quality standards and specifications
• Help identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and manufacturing processes
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
