Job summary

Radius Packaging is seeking a hands-on Day Shift Supervisor to lead six-sigma style production efforts on a 12-hour rotational schedule in New Berlin, WI. You’ll coach a front-line team, own shift performance, and drive uptime, quality, and safety on the factory floor.

You will oversee staffing, training, and compliance with GMP/food safety standards while partnering with cross-functional teams to meet KPI targets and continuously improve operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience leading CI programs and ERP/MRP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication
• Excellent communication—proactive, clear, action-oriented
• Strong coaching mindset and ability to motivate technical teams
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot blow molding and downstream equipment
• Lead RedZone metrics and technician accountability
• Prioritize staffing and material staging for safety and efficiency
• Identify and escalate maintenance needs via work orders
• Lead by example to create a safe, efficient production floor
• Oversee staffing, labor planning, and task assignments
• Drive continuous improvement and safety programs
• Monitor performance data to improve uptime and quality
