Job summary

Beacon Hill in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Process Engineering Technician for August 2026 to support semiconductor equipment testing and process experiments.

You will operate metrology tools such as TEM, SEM, FIB and light microscopes, document results, and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes. A BS/BA and MS/MBA are preferred; SEM/TEM experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Semiconductor process technician experience required.
• Experience with SEM/TEM/FIB highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starting with strong technical and hands-on abilities.
• BS/BA, MS/MBA degrees.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tests and experiments for Process Engineering, including setup and operation of metrology and supporting tools.
• Prepare records, charts, and graphs of test results.
• Operate metrology tools (including TEM, Dual Beam, light microscopes, and sputtering tools) to qualify process equipment and optimize processes.
• Adjust hardware/software parameters to correct issues or run experiments.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot process problems.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on process equipment.
• Write procedures and training materials.
