Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a hands-on Security Analyst to support the Office of Cybersecurity and SCDHHS leadership in daily operations and incident response. You will work across business units and vendors to ensure secure enterprise architectures, including multi-tenant cloud environments and firewall rule reviews.

The role demands experience with network security monitoring, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability tools, with a focus on HIPAA/NIST/SCA compliance and proactive threat detection.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in network design, implementation, or support.
• Hands-on IT security or system administration experience.
• Working knowledge of secure network design, security architecture, compliance tools, data protection, and access models.
• Ability to analyze logs, alerts, and network telemetry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily network alerts and investigate incidents.
• Perform network security assessments for firewall and infrastructure changes.
• Review connectivity, website block and firewall rule requests for risk.
• Analyze on-premise and cloud networks for threats.
• Collaborate with agency areas to implement security controls.
• Assist with KPI creation and trend monitoring.
• Support cloud and on‑premise network changes and enhancement projects.
