Job summary

Lamsco West, Inc. is seeking a Production Support Operator for second shift to perform cleaning, marking, packaging, deburring and grinding of parts using various tools and processes in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires basic math, precise data entry, neat handwriting and good English communication. Candidates should be able to work a scheduled shift, follow safety rules, and contribute to a lean, efficient production line.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
Able to perform shop math calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Good verbal and written English communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Neat penmanship for completing Manufacturing Plans and related forms.
Detail oriented with ability to multi-task several functions.

Responsibilities

Clean parts, perform part marking and packaging, and deburr/grind parts using files, grinding wheels, tumblers, and deburring cloth.
Operate a tumbler and a sand blaster as part of production support tasks.
Follow the lean philosophy and practice the 6 S’s daily to optimize efficiency.
Adhere to safety rules and company procedures; demonstrate teamwork and flexibility as deadlines require.
