CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced SDET Engineering Manager to lead the quality engineering efforts within the AI Detection and Response (AIDR) team. You will guide a team of SDETs responsible for end-to-end validation of AIDR services—a platform processing millions of AI security events per second and petabytes of data.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software development/SDET roles.
• 3+ years in engineering management leading SDET teams.
• Experience building testing frameworks for Cloud SaaS products.
• Strong debugging of distributed systems and performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SDETs while coding in the trenches.
• Own testing strategy across functional, performance, contract, and chaos testing for the AIDR platform.
• Be hands-on with production issues, tracing calls and writing regression tests.
• Review code/design with a quality-first lens and enforce testability standards.
• Define CI/CD quality gates and align tooling with backend and UI teams.
• Manage team capacity, sprint planning, and delivery commitments.
