Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced SDET Engineering Manager to lead the AI Detection and Response (AIDR) testing team.

You will guide end-to-end validation of high-scale AI security services, writing code, building test frameworks, and ensuring reliability across cloud backends and UI applications. The role blends hands-on coding with leadership, overseeing functional, performance, contract, and chaos testing while fostering a culture of quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/SDET roles with 3+ years in engineering management
• Strong hands-on coding to build test frameworks and debug distributed systems
• Experience building testing frameworks for Cloud SaaS or SOA at scale

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of SDETs while remaining hands-on
• Own and drive testing strategy across functional, performance, contract, and chaos testing
• Define and maintain quality gates across CI/CD pipelines and tooling
• Partner with backend and UI engineering managers on quality standards
• Recruit, hire, and onboard top SDET talent and drive career development
