• Able to accept coaching and feedback and work effectively as part of a team.
• Able to safely perform the physical requirements of a workroom/fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to measure and cut carpet and flooring materials to specified dimensions.
• Cut down carpet to create custom runners and area rugs.
• Train on binding machines and finishing edges.
• Read and follow work orders, measurements, and fabrication instructions.
• Inspect materials before fabrication and completed products before release.
• Develop precise cutting and professional binding quality.
• Assist with staging materials, packaging orders, and organizing the workroom.
• Minimize material waste and remakes.
• Follow all safety procedures and learn proper use of tools and equipment.
