Job summary

Infravision is seeking a skilled RPAS Pilot for hands-on field operations in the U.S. You will support manual drone flight, equipment readiness, safety protocols, and customer-facing project work.

This role requires strong aviation judgment and the ability to travel to project sites in dynamic field environments. Ideal candidates have FAA Part 107 certification, 500+ flight hours of non pre-programmed flights, and proven manual flight capability.

Qualifications

  • FAA Part 107 remote pilot certification is required.
  • Minimum 500 flight hours of non pre-programmed flights.
  • Strong aviation knowledge including airspace, weather, risk management.
  • Demonstrated manual flight capability beyond pre-programmed paths.
  • Experience in field operations across related environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate RPAS/UAS platforms to support field operations and customer projects.
  • Conduct manual flight operations requiring precision and judgment.
  • Assist with pre-job prep, equipment readiness, site setup, and post-job documentation.
  • Support field drone maintenance and basic repairs for readiness.
  • Lead safety protocols, toolbox talks, and ensure PPE readiness.
  • Ensure site compliance and document field conditions during work.
  • Work outdoors on uneven terrain and travel to project locations.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Relocate to Austin, TX as needed to support operations.
