Job summary

Bracket Bot Inc. is seeking a Robotics Engineering Intern in San Francisco to contribute to hands-on engineering projects with the Bracket Bot team.

You will help build and improve robots, investigate failures, and take scoped projects from an idea to a tested result. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, software, and machine learning domains, gaining exposure to other disciplines that make a robot work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering projects showing curiosity and follow-through.
• Foundation in mechanical, electrical, software, or robotics engineering.
• Willingness to build, measure, debug, and learn unfamiliar systems.
• Clear communication and the ability to ask useful questions.
• Care for the quality of your work and enthusiasm for physical robots.

Responsibilities

• Build, integrate, and test robot hardware or software with the engineering team.
• Help reproduce failures, collect useful measurements, and debug system behavior.
• Develop prototypes, tools, or tests that support robot development.
• Document results and communicate what worked, what failed, and what to try next.
• Own a scoped engineering project through implementation and verification.
